The Tehama County Sheriff’s Office has a dedicated group of civilian volunteers who help provide important services to the community. Groups such as S.T.A.R.S. (Sheriff’s Team of Active Retired Seniors), Search and Rescue, CERT (Community Emergency Response Team), Neighborhood Watch, Sheriff’s Explorers and the Chaplin Corps all help provide much needed skills and services to those in need.
