A Message from Sheriff Dave Kain

If you wish to document a crime or incident that you don’t feel is necessary for a deputy to respond to, you are encouraged to complete a public report form and return it to this office. Your report will be reviewed, and if it is deemed necessary, a deputy will be assigned to investigate further. In all cases, your report will be entered into our computerized records system; and can easily be retrieved for you for insurance, civil, or criminal purposes from our records department during normal business hours.

To obtain a public report form, you can come to the Sheriff’s Department records division, located at 22840 Antelope Boulevard in Red Bluff, between the hours of 8AM and 4PM Monday through Friday. You can also download a report form by clicking on Download Citizen Report form available in the link below. The forms should be completed thoroughly, and promptly returned to the address provided on the form.

If you wish to document a crime or incident, complete the public Citizen Report form and return it to the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office.

Letter of Agency – Trespass Arrest Authorization

To address anyone who is not a lawful resident, guest, or visitor, on your property, please complete the Letter of Agency (Trespass Arrest Authorization) form and return it to the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office.

Citizen Complaint Form

If you wish to make a complaint against a Tehama County Sheriff’s Employee for improper conduct, complete the Citizen Complaint form and return it to the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office.

Please use this form to commend one of our deputies or employees. Your message will be reviewed by a member of our staff and if necessary you may be contacted for more information. We appreciate your comments.
