Instructor: Greg Blanco

Greg Blanco is the newest Tehama County Police Activities League Instructor. Interested parents can come by and talk to Greg to enroll their kids.

He is Godan, a 5th-degree Black Belt in Judo, and has been teaching, studying and training in Judo for 50 years.

He started Judo in the San Diego area in 1972 while in high school. His first Sensei (teacher) was a Grand old man named Roy “Pop” Moore Sr. Blanco started teaching Judo in 1991 after relocating to Northern California in Chico, Redding and Red Bluff. In 1992, he started Red Bluff Judo which continues to this day.

He is a member and club registrant of the United States Judo Federation (USJF) and USA Judo member.
