Sergeant Promotions

On April 29, 2019, Sheriff Dave Hencratt swore in three new Sheriff’s Sergeants, filling the three vacancies that were left with recent promotions and retirements. Danielle Gibson, Kyle Lovelady and Noel Clem were selected to fill the vacant positions.

Sergeant Gibson has been employed with the Sheriff’s Office since 2002. Sergeant Gibson has worked a variety of assignments including the Jail, Patrol, Tehama Interagency Drug Enforcement (TIDE) task force and as a Field Training Officer.

Sergeant Lovelady has been employed with the Sheriff’s Office since 2005. Sergeant Lovelady has worked a variety of assignments including the Jail, Patrol, TIDE, and most recently as a Sheriff’s Detective. Sergeant Lovelady is assigned as a SWAT operator and is an active member of the California Narcotics Officer Association.

Sergeant Clem has been employed with the Sheriff’s Office since 2013. Sergeant Clem has worked both in the Patrol Division and in the Investigations Division as part of the Marijuana Eradication Program. Sergeant Clem has previously been employed with the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office and the Sierra County Sheriff’s Office. Sergeant Clem has previously been assigned as a SWAT operator and as a Detective.
