The Street Hockey season runs from February – March each year at the Evergreen Middle School in Cottonwood with signups normally being held in January.

Sharks & Parks is a street hockey program that can be played either indoors on a gymnasium floor, or outdoors on blacktop. The San Jose Sharks provide street hockey equipment and instructional material, such as administrator manuals for coaches and playbooks for kids. The Tehama County PAL Sharks & Parks program in Cottonwood typically begins February and runs through the end of March each year.
Boys and girls, ages 8 to 13 (3rd through 8th grade), can participate in the program.
Street hockey is played in sneakers, so tennis shoes are the only requirement. The San Jose Sharks and the NHL will provides Tehama County PAL with all the equipment, including sticks, balls, nets, and goalie equipment.
You don’t need to have any experience to participate in Sharks & Parks. The San Jose Sharks will provide players with a playbook and coaches will be given an administrator manual that teach them the basics of hockey.
Sign ups for this program are typically held in January of each year at Evergreen Middle School in Cottonwood.
