Tehama County Secret Witness

Purpose:

The Tehama County Secret Witness program was established to increase citizen participation and involve the public in assisting local law enforcement agencies in solving and reducing crime in the county.  This purpose is achieved by providing an means to those citizens who wish to relay information on crimes with complete anonymity and with the possibility of receiving a reward upon arrest and conviction of the crimes.  

About Tehama County Secret Witness:

Tehama County Secret Witness is a non-profit organization that provides the citizens of Tehama County a reward system to provide tips and information regarding crimes that occur in Tehama County and to allow the person who is giving the information to remain anonymous. The idea is to get information which will lead to the arrest and conviction of the subject(s) involved in the particular incident.

The information is collected from the Secret Witness Telephone Line (530-529-1268) located at the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office Crime Prevention Division or from the Agency that is requesting the information to help solve their case.
