Detective Robert Brinton Detective Robert Brinton  has worked for the Tehama County Sheriff’s Department since December 1991. Detective Brinton was assigned to the Jail Division for 3 years, then the Patrol Division for 6 years.

During his jail assignment, he operated the Weekend Work Program, the Home Incarceration Program, and arranged transportation for inmates to prison. During his time in patrol he was the Bowman / Lake California Resident Deputy, a Field Training Officer and shift supervisor. Detective Brinton has been assigned to the Detective Division since September 2000 and was assigned as the Child abuse Sexual Assault Investigator. In 2003 Detective Brinton was assignment to the Tehama and Glenn Methamphetamine Enforcement Team (TAGMET) where he was a Training coordinator/training Officer, Drug Endangered Children Coordinator, and Supervisor.

In June 2007 Detective Brinton returned to the Detective division as the child abuse and sex crimes investigator. He is also a certified Computer Voice Stress Analyst.  He is a member of the California Sexual Assault Investigators Association and the Pacific Association of Certified Voice Stress Analysts.

 

Detective Chad Dada: Detective Chad Dada has worked for the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) continuously since 1991.  Detective Dada’s experience includes 2 ½ years assigned to the Jail,  about 1 ½ years as bailiff/civil deputy, about 11 years as a patrol deputy, and four years as an Agent for the NSI Cal-MMET drug enforcement unit.

Detective Dada has held an Advanced Certificate from Peace Officer Standards and Training commission since 2001.  Detective Dada has served on the TCSO Accident Review Board and with the TCSO Honor Guard, and has worked as a Field Training Officer (FTO).  In 2008, Detective Dada was awarded “Case of the Year” by TCSO investigators for exceptional efforts in cracking a large burglary ring. 

Following shootout in which a CHP officer was wounded, the California Highway Patrol awarded their Commissioner’s Award to Detective Dada and another TCSO officer; it was the first time this award was given to a Sheriff’s Officer.   Detective Dada was also awarded the Medal of Valor by Tehama County. 
Currently Detective Dada is specializes
as a Sex Crime and Child Abuse investigator for TCSO Operations.

 

Detective Chad Parker: Detective Chad Parker has worked for the Tehama County Sheriff's Office since July of 1996.  Prior to his full time employment with the Tehama County Sheriff's Office Detective Parker volunteered as a Reserve Deputy and was a member of the Explorer Post 120.

Detective Parker has been assigned to the jail division, patrol division Field Training Officer, and a narcotics investigator at CALMMET.

One of Detective Parker's assignments is Agriculture Investigator and he is currently the Explorer Post Advisor.
